Dr. Mahesh H Patel is a highly accomplished surgeon with over 35 years of experience in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery. His clinical and therapeutic expertise includes Composite Resections for Cancer of Tongue, Jaw & Buccal Mucosa, Marginal Mandibulectomies, All types of Neck Dissections, Thyroid Surgeries, Parathyroid Surgeries, Parotid Surgeries, Post-Cricoid Surgeries, Larynx Surgeries, Maxilla Surgeries and Various types of Salvage Surgeries. His patients hold him in high regard for his positive impact on their cancer treatment. His work of Head & Neck Cancer Surgeries has been published in multiple journals and has also been presented at various conferences. Also, he has organized Conferences & CME of Head & Neck Cancer and being invited as a faculty in many conferences across India.

  • He has been appointed as MCh PG teacher from 2009 and MCh examiner in theory and practical for Gujarat University.
  • He worked as Unit Head of Head & Neck Cancer Specialty at GCRI.
  • He has been much more involved in Head & Neck Cancer Management since 1991 and practicing as Consultant Cancer Surgeon for the last 23 years.
